Townshend Elementary School Club
| The School Club
is comprised of parents of children attending TES. Members depend
on parent involvement and support to achieve successful fundraising events
which support the students and school in many ways. Some of the main
events which have raised hundreds of dollars are: |
- Fall Walk-a-Thon
- March Read-a-Thon
- May Flower Baskets

Funds
from these events have made possible many things:
- New playground equipment
and repairs
- Winter sports funding
and equipment provided
- Camp Keewaydin for
fifth grade students
- Arts residencies
- Classroom supplies
- Graduation decorations
and flowers

Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month and welcomes
new members!
