Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold Capture Fort Ticonderoga
In the middle of the night in the darkness, Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold came and took charge at Fort Ticonderoga. I am writing this report because in school we are learning about the American Revolution. My class had to pick a topic that they wanted to study. And I picked Fort Ticonderoga. You will all about how Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold took charge of Fort Ticonderoga on May 10, 1775.
How did Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold take charge at fort Ticonderoga? Ethan Allen was more than glad to take the job and take over at the fort. Allen and Arnold banged on a man's door; he came out only in a nightshirt and holding a sward. The man was yelling at them because it was so late at night. Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold met a group of garrisons on their way to the fort, and then they started looting the British garrisons personal belongings onto boats and sending them to Boston. The green mountain boys were a small group of militia organization that was first established in the 1760s.
I will always remember this event because Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold did not use any weapons. Like cannons or muskets. They were mean men that they even did that to the people of Fort Ticonderoga.
Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold went in to the fort so quietly with no weapons. They managed not to hurt any body. In all of the other battles most of the people died or got severely injured and in this event no body got killed or injured.
