I liked the investigation when we learned about birds with Trevor. It was so much fun! We had to pick partners so I picked Maggie. Then Trevor had us pick witch kind of bird we wanted to be, so we picked the blue jay. After that we used tiny clips for our beaks. Then we had to pick up sticks using the tiny clips. Using the sticks we had to build a nest that was built for a blue jay. I learned that some birds live only in water, and never go on land. I loved it because we got to make really cool bird nests!

I will remember my new friend Matt Morro, all the yummy food, the awesome climbing wall, the coolio staff, my great job as a dish washer, the sometimes warm sometimes-cold cabins, and last but not least their turtle Speedy.

 

My job was being a dishwasher. It's so much fun with the big dishwashing machine. Its name is Hobart. First the waiters bring in the dishes from the kitchen. Then the first dishwashers put the dishes in the racks, slide them down to the rinser, and then the rinser sprays them with the water. After the rinser rinses the dishes they send them threw the machine. It makes a big noise then the dishes slide out. When they slide out the next people grab the dishes and put them away on the shelves. I like to put them away the most. It's so much fun!!!

For the first time I was away from my parents for a whole week. At first It was a little scary. But then I met all the people and the staff. Then I felt better and I was ready to have fun. I still missed them but I was ok. Then I met Matt, and he was awesome. Now that I'm home I love getting to see my parents but I also really miss Matt. But for the first time it was not so bad.
