At Keewaydin we had a Thursday choice activity. Which we had to pick three fun activities for the morning and afternoon investigation we got to do a different thing for each Thursday choice investigation. For the morning investigation I got to hike the falls of Lana I liked hiking the falls of Lana because the view was very nice and the hike there and back was a little interesting. For my afternoon investigation I got to do rock climbing/bouldering. Everybody started out bouldering and then we moved on to rock climbing it was my first time rock climbing so it was a little bit scary. But when I was o n the wall I was also hooked to a harness in case I fell I would not fall to the ground it was not actually that scary when I was at the top of the wall.

E C's KEEWAYDIN REFLECTIONS

The view was also nice I could see right onto the lake and MT. Mooslamoo. I was very proud of my self for climbing to the top of the climbing wall because it was my very first time climbing on the climbing wall and I am afraid of heights. So that made it a little bit harder climbing.

One investigation I really liked at Keewaydin was HHP, which stands for Hazardous Household Products. For HHP we took pieces of a cut up rug and smothered chocolate sauce, Molasses, and corn meal on the rugs we let two of the rugs dry and two of the rugs we immediately started cleaning but instead of using poisonous cleaning materials like bleach, spray and wash or tide to go we used baking soda, vinegar water, and lemon juice and water mixed and it really worked. I really liked investigation HHP because we got to learn a lot and it was fun, I also liked investigation HHP because we got to do something with our hands and that made it very fun, and I learned a lot. A couple of things I learned in investigation HHP was that there is other cleaning solutions beside using cleaning materials like bleach, tide to go, Clorox, Lysol, and other toxic materials. Another thing I learned in investigation HHP is when we use cleaning sprays like Windex, Lysol, or frebreeze when it sprays it can be harmful for the air and for plants animals and People.

At Keewaydin each school had a cabin but each school did not have there own cabin (except for MT. Anthony kids.) The Townshend, Windham and Grafton girls all shared a cabin. The Townshend, Windham, and Grafton boys all shared a cabin also. We did not spend a lot of time in our cabin, the only time we did spend in our cabin was at quiet time where you could write a letter, daydream, take a nap, knit or crochet, or draw that is one of the times we were in our cabin. Another time was when we were going to bed at night. The last time we were aloud in the cabin was when we were getting something like our towels for swimming, our shower stuff, getting a jacket or sweatshirt. We also had an inspection the inspection was in the morning for the inspection we had to clean our cabin we had to make our beds and make them look nice, sweep the floor, clean the bathroom, empty the trash cans, pick up the trash on the floor, get ready for morning investigation, then after about ten minutes a KEEC staff would come in and inspect our cabins, then at formation we would hear our score.

I will remember the hike to the falls of Lana, because it was very different from all of the other hikes I was on all week, I will remember all the investigations because they were all very fun, I will remember the whole KEEC staff because they were all nice, I will remember all the girls in cabin three
