MY KEEC

 REFLECTIONS

At Hobo cookout I "dealt" with fire

for the first time. I was REALLY scared of fire before that. It felt freaky when my group left me to tend the fires. I'm glad I'm not afraid of fire anymore. Now I can work with fire and not be afraid.

At KEEC, I was a dishwasher. Every

morning for breakfast and lunch and dinner, I would go down to the dining hall. The dishwashers started eating so we could start washing halfway through the meal. We used a Hobart that was named Hobi. The hoppers and preppers would go on the first gong too. The hoppers "hopped" up to clear dishes or get more food during the meal. The preppers prepared the tables for eating. When everyone started their jobs the second gong would ring and people would start coming.

I will remember all the people there, Tuesday, the food, the Hobo, Hobi, Lake DUnmore, Mt. Moosalamoo, and the gong.

Communities cooperate!
The investigation I like most was the human impact hike. We got to yell out "Human impact" whenever we saw it. Then we would have a discussion about it. Lauren told us that human impact is when humans leave a trace. There were things like chains through trees and footprints in muddy spots. We went to General's Lookout and we had to climb to get there It was hard, but it was cool too!
