Some of our themes for the 2010-2011 school year will include:
All About me, trees,
seeds and soil, apples,
early settlement, pumpkins,
holidays, cranberries, bread,
sound, states of matter,
black history,
birds of prey,
and many, many seasonal activities.
The K-2 classes would like to involve our local community and resources as much and as often as possible.
If you know anyone with a skill or craft (especially related to our early settlement theme) which you think we might be interested in seeing either out in the community, or brought into the classroom, please let us know!
We will be looking for volunteers to help teach knitting during the students' choice time later in the year. So get your needles and crochet hooks ready!!
