              simple machines,

 early settlement & Pilgrims,

                    light,

                 the solar system,

             Arctic animals,

                water,

          magnets,

  along with an attempt to       

           focus on a seasonal

     food each month

             beginning with

         corn and beans,

           then apples, followed by           cranberries and popcorn,

                     wheat and breads,

             maple syrup and lastly,

pumpkins,

squash,

potatoes,

eggs.
