During the school year this is a constantly changing site. Page by page staff and students endeavor to show you what is happening at TES and what the students are learning. At the end of every year we down load the entire site, archive it, and cut it to CD for our current 6th grade class along with all the past years' sites that they have participated in creating. Nothing is lost and the students leave with a compilation of the work they have accomplished during their time with us.

We are well into the creation of our site for 09/10. Many of the students have set up their own home pages and most have published one or more writing assignments for you to view. The excitement is contagious. Buttons, backgrounds, and web publishing captivates all, students and teachers alike. We hope you have fun when you view the pages, we sure have fun with the creation.

Note that we at Townshend Elementary School do not use templates. Our students and staff members are individuals and their pages reflect that individuality. Each page is, indeed, one of a kind and, we believe, accurately reflects the diversity of all involved. There is no one person assigned to "create" the site. From our little ones in Kindergarten to our building administrator, every individual plays their own important role.
